I am updating my blog with pictures of my first generation basswood field, and its corresponding paper sketch models. Initially I was not an advocator of the axon drawing, because I didn't see how representing what I already had was going to help me develop the rotation I am trying to achieve in my field. So, I decided to do a drawing of the control points which are the triangles in my field, and then do an overlay of the rotated triangles that will be in my new field. I am constructing my drawings based off of the diagrammatic drawing I developed of the triangles. From there I create an elevation of my field and introduce the 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch thicknesses, then from the elevation I create a plan. The plan finally allows me to contruct the requested axon.
